Hello @dkkundu00

Welcome to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting.

Most business class notebooks (including yours Elitebook and Probook) have better security. You will have to contact HP Business Support for assistance on removing the password. HP Business support should be able to send you the customised SMC.bin file and instructions which you can use  to reset the password - the file cannot be generated and provided by the means of the forum.

Here is how to contact HP >> http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html

Contacting HP Business support for such issues is usually free of chanrge. You will be connected to level 1 support agent who will collect the required information from you and will eventually escalate the case to tier 2 engineer. You will be contacted with final file and instructions after a few days typically.

Hope this helps. Provide your feedback and let me know if you face any issues
