Guys microsoft is going to release service pack 1 soon in a week or two (hopefully) which will only contain bug fixes .... For now just simply revert back,no new OS is bug free ..even vista had issues on its start 😕 just revert and wait

It was released yesterday and hasn't fixed anything for me! If anything it's only gone and made other things worse! My Mail app was working fine until I updated yesterday, not it just crashes as soon as it's loaded up.

I also have an HP envy 360 and am having issues with both the shutdown and with the mouse settings not saving across settings. My main concern is that the laptop stays hot if it is not completely shut down and then it is put in my laptop bag. Plus it also seems to continue to drain the battery during this time. Anyway I'll hold out for a fix i guess.

What else can you do? 🙂

I noticed in the HP Support Assistant that they posted an updated driver for the "Wireless Button Driver" for my HP Notebook 15 PC - Pavillion.  This is newer than the one I got the other day through device manager (1.1.3.1) dated for June 2015.  This one is 1.1.5.1Ap2.  It is not that I think this is going to resolve SLEEP, etc. issues... 🙂

My laptop is an Envy 15 X360 i finally got it to sleep.  I know it was frustrating for me but all i did after trying every suggestion including updating drivers and switching settings,  was:

Open Power Settings -> Plan you are using -> Advanced-> Multimedia -> When Sharing Media

Make sure that the setting on both plugged in and battery connection is Allow Computer to Sleep.

Either that was the fix or an update came out today that helped.

Yayyy, I think it's finally fixed. I downloaded the latest update from Windows Update, and also using HP support assistant downloaded the update for Wireless Button.

Seems to allow me to put the laptop to sleep, fold to sleep, and click the power button to sleep. Yay.

If anything happens I'll get back here

I tried to revert back to 8.1.  First I had to delete an account I had created, then it made it all the way through.  Now I get the login screen and type in my password and it does nothing.  Sometimes it goes to a blue screen and looks like it is going to load then the it just goes right back to the login screen.  Sometimes it doesn't even do that it just does nothing.  I type in the passord and hit enter or click on the submit button and it does absolutely nothing.

Any ideas on that?

Never mind. False alarm. Just tried to send laptop to sleep by closing lid and it froze again.

I'm sick of this now
