HP Recommended

I just accidentally scratched the surface of my laptop lid by putting it in my bag with a tape measure with a sharp metal edge. Is there anything that can be done to fix or fill in the scratch or make it look better? It's an HP Elitebook 8460p. I attached a picture of the scratch.

Changing the display panel back cover is the ideal choice.
