Hp 1000
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

When I start the latop, the  screen display on my laptop (Hp 1000) was in 3 divided  windows, left side screen right & right side screen left.i had restart, shutdown But this it came back to the split display and no matter what I couldn't fix it.display driver uninstal then reinstal all work done but problem not solved.

has anyone had this happen before or have any advice? I've ran multiple virus scans and everything checks out okay. the notebook sits on my desk - no physical damage or whatsoever

Since then I have tried resetting monitor and drivers, no help. Any ideas, I also tried System Restore, but to no avail.IMG-20150420-WA0000.jpg

Hi,

Do a hard reset: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01684768

What is the result when you connect to external monitor, is it the same issue in that too?

What about in BIOS setup?

Could you try above suggestion?

Uninstall currently installed graphic driver from Device Manager & download, save, install latest driver from your model's HP support page .
