Screen randomly goes blank every couple of minutes

My computer screen goes black everycouple of minutes. No loss of data. Just goes black then comes back up after a few seconds. Also, have noticed an occasional black verticle line. Is this computer problem or is screen going out. Using HD.

The problem maybe in ram or screen . . . . . . . .try using uefi diagnostics

The combination of the screen blanking and the black vertical line implies the video chip is dying in your PC.

One way to see if it is the video chip, rather than the screen, is to connect an external monitor.

IF it exhibits the same problems, including the vertical line, the video chip is failing.
