Hello everyone, I have a problem with my notebook, a few days ago the screen started to show green dots instead of darker colors, and purple in lighter colors. I've connected the laptop to an external monitor and the image shows perfect. Graphical drivers are up to date. Sometimes, all dots disappear but after several minutes or hours they show up again.

Please help me to find a solution. Thanks.

According to the message you have recently posted I would like to confirm that this is a hardware issue and the display needs a replacement. I strongly recommend you to Contact HP Technical Support over the Phone for further assistance to get your Notebook diagnosed and serviced by an authorized HP Certified Engineer

You can also Check your warranty Here to verify the warranty status

Thanks for your answer KNRK.

But don't you think that it could be the graphic card? Is there any way to know if the problem comes from the screen, the flex or the graphic card?

As KNRK mentioned, it will be a hardware issue.

Have you connected it to a EXTERNAL monitor to see if the problem replicates? If it does not replicate, then it is your SCREEN/DISPLAY.

If it REPLICATES, then it is your mainboard.
