Hi,
Can anyone give me the hyperlink to update my HP un2430 WWAN Module drivers for Windows 10 64-bit platform or the update is not yet released...if so then roughly when will it be out? The reason i asked this question is because my Windows 8.1 module drivers is not compatible with Windows 10 so the wireless does not receive any signal, hence doesn't work.
I formerly was using Windows 8.1 64-bit but now am on Windows 10 64-bit for my EliteBook 8460p. The hp un2430 module worked perfectly when i was using Windows 8.1.
Finally, on the other hand if there is a useful patch to let the thing work please inform me.
Thank you very much, in advance for your help.
Jamie

I use HP EliteBook 8460p Windows 10pro from 8.1.
Nb. Such old models its quite hard to get new updates. But here is how I solved it:
1. Uninstall HP un2430 Sierra Wireless Drivers at Control Panel- Programs and Features. If you have any there.
2. Restart your machine.
3. Restart again.
4. First install hp un2430 Sierra Wireless Driver sp63218 from 8460p Windows 8.1hp support and drivers. Approximately 77MB in size.
5. Restart.
6. Finally as additional install, sp63221 approximately 115MB. Sierra Wireless Driver. From hp support and drivers of a CURRENT laptop called Revolve G1 EliteBook Windows 8.1 OS.
7. The cellular signal should appear at taskbar.
NB. Windows 10 does not allow for hp connection manager because it has its own. Go to settings- network & internet- airplane mode there you will see all the wireless switches to turn on/off.
Here is a bonus update info. BIOS F61. You can get from regular 8460p Windows 8.1 hp support & drivers website.
Let me in on your results.
Thanks.

Wow Man, you just made my day 🙂
I was on the brink of letting the laptop I use (Folio 9470m) fly out the window and say to my boss "oops, something happened, can I have a new PC please?"
But your solution worked fine on my HP Folio 9470m as well! Thanks for finding it out for me!
I hope it is allright that I forward your solution to the thread I made some weeks ago?
Thanks once again for answering what HP apparently couldn't bother with, I owe you some beers if we ever meet!
Regards
Arctica
