Seems like as soon as you start your Cyberlink YouCam software, all you see is dark screen. Then you go to Enhance the current video image option (one of those on the right of the cam screen). There select advanced, and go to camera control tab. There just uncheck the auto Exposure and set it to -2, and uncheck low light compensation (If its already unchecked, check these and uncheck again). Only then we can see well lit and a clear video. Not sure why this happens. Not sure if this is the problem which only i'm facing. If others facing similar problem, please let me know if you have any solution.

Thank you for your suggestions. I was able to do all your suggestions except after setting the video pro amp page as you suggest I was then unable to change anything on the camera control page.
I am not tech savvy at all--but on my desk top HP Pavilion I had purchased a separate Logitech camera...and the picture quality and the video clips were very accurate/no delay or blur. This camera is horrible and very blurry when I move around for the camera and recording video. What else can I do, pls? A large part of buying this pc was for the built in web cam...and I am so disappointed I'm about to return the computer.
thank you

Omg, im am so happy I found this website because I was extremely unhappy with my new computer it started acting slow and I thought it was the computer and i had reboot it up, delete everything and even start it over again while losing almost everything.
