HP Recommended

I have a Revolve 810 g2 tablet. It is very nice in many ways but the sound is very (very) quiet.  I know that I can't expect a big sound from a small device especially when it is sitting on my knee, but, the reviews indicated that the sound was sufficient for a small office but i am sitting here with it on my knee and can barely hear the sound from the speakers. Headphones work fine and the microphone is good. I have everything turned up full and still very little sound. It isn't just this one either, we have 150 of these and so far none are any better. Any ideas?
