Thanks for providing that! Here's what I found.
The dm4-1265dx manual (page 1) lists all of the processors compatible with this model. You currently have the 460M. I tried looking up the prices for several listed there. I only found a few that are available for sale. Older (1+yr) processor prices are not entirely based on their specs, but also on their availability in the market (not just the seller's stock on hand).
430M - $89.00
450M - $41.99
460M - $62.00 <--------- The one you have currently
480M - $149.95
520M - $99.00
540M - $110.00
560M - $149.00
580M - $249.95
620M - $125.99
Any models left out of that list did not come up in my immediate search. Really at this point it's up to you. If fixing computers is a hobby for you, and you have the money to spend, you could certainly try replacing the processor too. If I were fixing this computer for a paying customer/client, I would advise them to put that money toward a new computer and just transfer the personal files over to the new one. Being that you've already purchased a new motherboard, heat sink and fan, that makes things a little different. So I will leave that decision up to you.
I would definitely advise, if you go with the new processor route, try to find a seller who will take opened items back with no restocking fee, in case you it still doesn't work and/or you decide to just get a new computer.
Either way, I'd be interested to know what you decide and how it works out 🙂 If you need any help transferring files, let me know. I know of a good tool to use.

Thank you so much for your help. I purchased the processor becuase I have already purchased the motherboard and heatsink. If I could go back I would have just put that money towards a new pc but im already in too deep. I will update on the status once it comes in.

Hey vindopadathodi,
I'm sorry you're running into this issue. Have you made any recent changes? Had any physical damage or liquid spills? Do you know if there have been any updates recently? Sometimes an outdated BIOS can cause the issue. If I could get your model or product number, I could provide you with the latest BIOS version. Here are the steps to find your model/product number.
Do you feel the fan spinning? Do you feel hot air coming out of the vents? Take a look at this page by Daniel Potyrala for more tips on preventing and dealing with overheating.

This part number is for the heatsink for models with equipped with discrete graphics. You can find it on page 20 under number 11.
You will need that heatsink because it has an extra part that covers the discrete graphics chip.
I'm glad you caught that!
