I have a friend who's pavilion is acting up. She dais she never set a bios password but it is asking for one. After 3 times she gets a message saying system disabled and code 72533090. Any suggestions?

Bless you brother "mahemac" as I have been working on 2 different model HP laptops with the same problem (but diffent System Disabled code numbers) all day. Your link (http://bios-pw.org/) worked like a charm!  All I had to do was enter the number and hit the "Get Password" bar. Sure wish I had found it earlier in the day but am thrilled I stumbled across it at all. Thank you for sharing the info as it saved me from committing dual computer homicide
