Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP Notebook - 15-ba144na and a message appears stating "Threads Stock to device manager" and the laptop logs you out.
To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Does this error appear before you login to Windows or after you login and start working on it?
- Did any hardware or software changes (updates) take place on the laptop recently?
If you are able to login to Windows, then please perform the following steps:
- 1. Navigate to Control Panel, Hardware and Sound and Power Options.
- 2. Select ‘Change plan settings’ next to the selected preferred plan.
- 3. Select ‘Change advanced power settings.
- 4. Find ATI Graphics Power Settings and select ‘maximized performance’.
- 5. Click Save changes and reboot.
If the error persists then open device manager and expand display adapters. Right click on the driver listed under display adapters and uninstall it.
Then download and install the display drivers from this link.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know how it goes. Cheers! 🙂
