HP Pavillion x2 10-J008TU

My tablet is 3 months old - hardly used.  It was only connecting to the internet at home intermittently - now it just says 'can't connect to this network'.  I have reset the tablet to the factory setting - no change.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tricia.

Hi @pja5 ,

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion x2 - 10-j008tu Notebook and issues with the Wireless not connecting. Here is a link to troubleshoot the Wireless with Windows 8.1.

I would restart my router before doing any troubleshooting. Unplug it for a few moments and then plug it back in.

Here is a document on Airplane mode.

If Airplane mode is on you cannot use your WiFi , so Airplane mode should off, Wireless should be on.

If either do not help, You can do a system restore to a few days before it was working. System restore will help if something automatically updated and did not go well on the Notebook.

When performing a System restore please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices as they can cause issues.

Please let me know how this goes.

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for you help.  I have tried all those things and even did a restore to fatory settings.  Still no good.  I have chatted online to the HP technician and he has suggested getting someone out to take a look at it.  Still waiting on that.

Cheers,

Tricia.
