Are you frustrated that your HP TX1000 isn't displaying anything yet all LED's and other lights turn on?

Just before you send it to HP or some other computer repair, try this temporary fix,

1. Open the computer lid, screen facing towards yourself.

2. Firmly push your elbow on the "P, L, K, O, I" keys on the keyboard, make sure your pressing it with a decent force.

3. With your elbow still on the keys, slide the power button, the computer will now boot with video and all display.

4. Enjoy and give a kudos if this solved your problem!

Is the solution seeming cheesy to you? Well here's the theory behind it,

The GPU/Graphics Processor/Graphics Card is located right beneath those "P, L, K, O, I" keys, when you apply the force with your elbow, the heatsink is pushed further towards the board, sandwiching the GPU against the motherboard, which then temporarily lets the GPU stay in contact with the motherboard.

This is the solution I've used on my TX1000, I would upload a video but I got that laptop exchanged.

And yes I know I'm late with this, but many people haven't thought of this neat simple trick that the most newbie of users can do to get their notebook up and running.

If this could be stickied, that would be pretty nice. I had 3 people come to my shop and had this same computer.

Also would help HP, less users complaining on how to fix this.

Worked great for me !  I heard that to solve this problem someone had spent around 70 $ to replace the LCD Screen at Computer Repair Center. Thanks man, you saved me some money $$$$ !!!!
