My HP Pavilion g4-1318dx monitor is discolored or the color is converted. They said the problem on this, the video graphics card is overheating thats why it show up like converted color in the monitor. Should I change a new graphics card to show the normal color in the monitor? Or maybe I will bring this to HP service center near me so that they will fix it.

If there is any solution that I can fix it, please tell me the procedure how?
Now, I will buy a cooling pad to prevent overheating on my laptop. Please help me!

Hello Rvyn,
Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you're having an issue with the display on your Notebook, that the colors look converted.

From reading this document: Resolving Problems with Notebook Displays. If I'm understanding what you've posted correctly, you would need to contact support for further assistance on the issue. ( you may want to read through the document to verify)

That's what I mean! There is no problem with the display. It is the Video graphics card that is overheating said to the technician here. Thats why the monitor looks like that. But I think it can't be change because the graphics card is built-in right? What should I do? Is there any solutions to this problem?
