I am having trouble with Word, PowerPoint, etc printing correctly when I am using text boxes, graphics, photos.   The transparent / no fill background looks fine on the computer, but when I print it a box appears around the item/words that is a different color than the background.  For example it's a dark blue background, but a box is appearing around the words and around the graphic that is a lighter color.  The only workaround I tried that works a little is grouping all items together.  But this is quite annoying to do.  Is there some setting or something to get the transparent / no fill area behind words/photos/graphics so they do not show up when printed.  Thanks for the help!

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

I read your post about problems printing text boxes in MS Word and wanted to help.

I found this MS Community thread that has a variety of solutions you can try:  http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2010-word/text-boxes-wont-print-in-word-2010/...

If none of these work, you should try posting to the MS Community forums, as our role here is primarily to support HP software problems, not MS software.

Good Luck
