Hello,
Welcome to the HP Support forum.
Could you post your full HP product model and product number as described here >>http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108
Did your PC originally come with Windows 10 preinstalled or it had another (earlier) version of Windows preinstalled ?
Please, provide details about what exactly you have done and what method for recovery you have tried ? Details ?
Thank you in advance for your clarification. Cheers!

Hp Envy m6 Sleekbook Product Number: EOLO6UA#ABA. My computer did not came with Windows 10 originally. It came with Windows 8. I hav tried factory reset from the following method. From Control Panel, Recovery and Advance Recovery Methods. I have tried from F11 then troubleshoot, Reset your PC then Next, Windows 10, then it comes up the error message that I mentioned earlier.n Also tried From the same menu Recovery Manager, Windows 10 System Recovery, Recover without backing up your files. In here an error message comes up Error code = 0xEFFFFF06. When I try turning it on it says Diagnosing Repairs, Attemting repairs, an then goes back to the error message that I said in my original post.

Thank you for the provided information.
Since your PC originally came with previous Windows version and you later upgraded to Windows 10 and if your PC activated fine, your PC's Windows is activated using Digital Entitlement method. Because of this, you no longer need a code/lic key to activate Windows if you need to reinstall it - this is good news. More info:
>> http://www.winbeta.org/news/digital-entitlement-a-new-method-of-activation-in-windows-10
For the repair, you can directly download Windows 10 ISO image from MS site or download Media creation tool from Microsoft site, create installational DVD or installation USB and proceed with clean installation/reinstallation.
Download >> https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO
Instructions
- How to create bootable ISO on USB device >> http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/create-a-usb-stick-on-windows
or
- How to write ISO to a new blank DVD >> http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/burn-a-dvd-on-windows
When ready with the USB drive or with the DVD:
* Ensure Secure Boot is disabled.
* Ensure Legacy mode is enabled.
* Save the UEFI/BIOS changes.
Details>> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03653226
Boot from the USB device or from the DVD:
Eventually, please, shutdown the computer using the power button.
Insert the Windows USB thumdrive or the DVD prepared previously
Power on the PC.
As soon as you press the power-on button, immediately begin hitting the Esc button (like tap-tap-tap).
This should open a HP Startup Menu which may look similar to this one
Choose F9 to open Boot options. Select the thumb drive or the DVD as boot option.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows 10 with full HDD format/delete of all partitions/entire currect disk
Post successful installation
Install drivers taken from HP web site when Win installation completes or via Windows Update/Device Manager >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03330139
Ensure your PC is well protected against cyber threats.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes. Don't hesitate to post again.
