Hello,

Suddenly my two-finger scroll stopped working. I do not recall updating recently so if anyone could help I would appreciate it very much!

Model: HP Envy Spectre-xt, 13-2000 eo

Windows 10 pro

Thank you,

Mike

Windows 10 updates on its own by default. Microsoft gave a choice to either auto update or refuse all updates, unlike in previous Microsoft operating systems.

Enter the Control Panel and  click on the Synaptics section and renable the option there.

Same problem, two finger scroll suddenly stopped working after frequent two finger scroll usage (ENVY 13 - ad013na).

I checked that my Windows System was fully updated, 'synaptics SMBus Clickpad' driver was also up to date, checked Control Panel and on the Synaptics section the two finger scroll tickbox was already ticked, toggling this in settings and applying the changes did not fix this issue.

Temporary solution which worked for me: restarting the laptop.

Did you find any permanent solution to this?
