Hello vda66. I understand you'd like to install UEFI support for your notebook.
Try this download. It is UEFI support for your notebook. Let me know if it works for you!
Have an excellent evening.

Hi AttackoZaq,
thanks for the reply. Just one question more: are you sure that the download you suggested is really the UEFI support for my HP-G62? I ask you because its description is:
"HP System Diagnostics is a UEFI based hardware diagnostics used to validate if a system is functional enough to startup the operating system. The diagnostics are accessed during startup by pressing F2 immediately after power on."

Hello again vda66.
For this download to be available your notebook has to support UEFI. However, notebooks that originally had Windows 7 only have limited support for UEFI (meaning it is not a full UEFI BIOS). Windows 8 is the first operating system to fully support UEFI. So, only notebooks which are supported by Windows 8 will have the full UEFI BIOS which includes features such as Secure Boot.
So, the diagnostic tools such as those in the above download are the only UEFI tools available for your notebook I hope this helps.
Have a great day.
