I have a Pavilion dv7-6b32us notebook computer. I'm trying to install HP Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) Support Environment driver. It won't install. I keep getting an error message that says, "HP UEFI Support Environment cannot be installed on systems with .NET Framework version smaller then 2.0" it also says this on the driver page "Prerequisites - Microsoft .NET 2.0 is required. UEFI and Custom Imaging". Here is the link:
I downloaded and installed MS .NET 2.0 but I still get the error message. Thanks for your help and time! ....Steve

Get .net framework 3.5 directly from microsoft update.
Connect your lappy to the internet and search for windows update.
Just check for .net framework updates and update them first.
Then install UEFI...it will work..
Accept this as solution, if helps

Yes, that worked, but I couldn't download it from Windows Update. I had to get it from here:

Thanks so much!
