Hello,   I have a ProBook 650 G8 that came with a 65W charger.   I'm wondering if it's okay to use a 3rd party docking station (VisionTek VT7000) that has a USB-C "power delivery" of "100w".   Is that okay or will that fry the laptop?   When I plug the visiontek in, I get a message that says "hp recommends using an hp power source".

Hi,

Yes, there should be no problem.

The machine will only use the required power. So you can use a 100Watt power supply.

Hope it helps,

David
