I don't remember the exact event ID but  I did write down that adapter "unplugged" or "removed" was logged in that specific event log at the time when I had issues. It did indeed occur on random moments and quite frequently.

 

Now the event is still logged on my computer but only on moments when it is expected (I think). Which is when I unplug the dock.
