I have posted an image of my device manager. It seems the issue is with my webcam as other websites suggest. I tried to operate the webcam through my skype but it did not work which is why I have been having this windows notifications. I tried to install and reinstall the drivers but it did not work. I am seeking your kind assistance. Thank you.

Thanks for providing the screenshot. Since you already tried uninstalling and reinstalling that Unknown driver, there are a few other things you could try.

Option 1

1. Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Unknown driver. Do not restart.

2. Download and install the latest webcam driver - Cyberlink YouCam Software version 3.5.4.5527

3. Restart if you are prompted to do so.

4. Test the webcam with Skype and the YouCam software (found in the Start menu).

Option 2

Look at this link and this video

Let me know the results when you get a chance 🙂

I have an 8gb flash drive. Its been working perfectly on my laptop. I copied a video to the flash and connected it to my dvd to play. It didn't play. The dvd kept searching and I unplugged it. For me to connect it back to my pc to copy files, It doesn't show in my computer anymore. It brings a pop up message showing, usb device has malfunctioned and cannot function properly. Please I need help.

Hello mac-lams,

Are you able to try the USB device on another computer? If it has the same issue, it will be an issue with the 8GB flash drive and will need to be replaced.

Thank you,
