Hello All,

I have purchased Envy 700-215xt desktop with Windows 7 OS.  I reformated the disk and installed Windows 2008 server, (standard version) on it.  I was able to get the most drivers working except one; Bluetooth.  I have been searching the blog and tried installing different drivers to get the bluetooth 4.0 working but it is not working by saying it is not compatible with your OS.  I was told that most Windows 7 drivers works well with Windows 2008 server, I was hoping to get this working.

The error message from the devise property is -

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

The installation failed because a function driver was not specified for this device instance.

To find a driver for this device, click Update Drive

When I update drive, with multiple other Dlls or downloaded versions from the hp support, it does not work.

There are two hardware IDs :

USB\VID_0A5C&PID_21F1&REV_0112

USB\VID_0A5C&PID_21F1

Does anybody have a luck working around this bluetooth 4.0 installation issue with Server? or these things never work on server?

Unfortunately, my wireless wifi is also not working and I am assuming that the wifi and bluetooth drivers are perhaps interlinked as broadcom is providing those devises.

Any help on this will be highly appreciated.

Thanks you in advance.

Regards,

Raj K
