I have a hp pavilion. My computer was working fine yesterday, then when i tried to use my usb today it wouldn't detect.
I went into Devices and Printers to show my device had a yellow triangle on it. When i troubleshooted it, it said that the below driver were not installed:
USB Root Hub (xHCI)
Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
I tried to reinstall the driver but it says that it can't find the software on my computer.
I've searched all over the internet, does any one know how to fix this:(

In the Device Manager, right click on the device with the yellow triangle and select unistall the device. After the device is uninstalled, right click on any device and select scan for hardware changes. The operating system should install the device and driver for you on its own. Windows 8 and 8.1 have usb and usb3 drivers in a folder called the DriverStore.
The following image just shows a few of the .inf files present in the DriverStore.
Windows 8 was the first version the iteration of Windows operating system to have most of the drivers it needs already present in the operating system itself.
