Hi:

Actually there currently is no working driver for your GPU.

The hardware ID for the specific graphics adapter in your model is not included in the driver pack.

I have reported this problem to HP engineering who is working on releasing a working driver.

You can see this related link below.

You can install the original driver from the HP Recovery Manager.

Do not install the Intel driver softpaq seperately. Doing that will make the switchable graphics feature unuseable.

Do not install drivers  directly from NVIDIA. They won't work. You will see that explained in the fine print of the driver section at NVIDIA. Only use drivers supplied by HP.

You're very welcome.

Thanks for your Answer.

But what do you mean by  Intel driver softpaq.

Please explain to me.

HP Recommended

There is an Intel driver softpaq available at the web support Portal in the download section. If switchable graphics is working, then installing that softpaq seperately will  stop switchable graphics from operating. It is a known flaw in switchable graphics driver installation.

If you currently have graphics it is likely that they are being provided by the Intel CPU' s onchip Intel HD 4400 video solution.

Thanks Paul Tikkanen.

I followed your instructions and they worked.

You're very welcome.

Do you mean you were able to edit the setup inf file and insert the hardware ID for your GPU and the driver installed?

Because the other forum member was unsuccessful in doing that.

Hello Paul

Could you estimate a release date for a working driver?
