Hello @CarlosB,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I have read your post and understand that you are trying to access the BIOS on your HP Pavilion g4-1387la. I am happy to help you resolve this issue. In the maintenance and service guide it indicates that the setup utility should be accessed using the ESC key and then the F10 key on this model.

(Take a look at page 96)

Thank you, I look forward to your response with the outcome.

Hello @CarlosB,

Thank you for the reply!

There is no easy way to access an advanced BIOS menu, but there has been a thread that may help you. There have been answers by a few different people, please take a look if you wish to continue: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-System-and-Recovery/insydeh20-advanced-menus-how-to-...

I have brought the issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post serial numbers and case details.

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, this post has instructions.

They can't do this - they only can give you the standard bios release. They will not release proprietary software to do what you want to do this is consider IP and something you can't get. All laptop makesrs have restrictions to their BIOS features that only the user can change and this isn't limited to HP.
