Upgrade RAM for HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC

Please let me know if my unit supports 16GB RAM. details of current spec below:

Product - HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC

Installed - 4GB  Micron Technology 1600MHz  X 2

Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60GHz

I run image and video processing extensively and need additional memory. so thinking of upgrading it to 16 gigs if it supports.

Need the exact model number but generally 3rd gen Intel Core machines can be upgraded to 16 gigs. I need the exact model number to find you the exact manual and explain exactly how to do the upgrade and the recommended modules. Some recent models make this a very challenging upgrade procedure.

See p. 49 of the Manual for instructions. Your laptop has an easy access panel to get at the memory so upgrade is fairly easy. Post back with any more questions.
