Hello! Why the latest driver for PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_68C1&SUBSYS_144A103C&REV_00 is for 2010 year?? I use Pavilion dv6-3026er and some my software need new drivers for my video card. It makes a lot of problems for me. so why? I`m sorry for mistakes, becouse I`m from Ukraine.

There are a number of threads on this topic, so please search for them.

 

That being said, you CAN update your driver (though the process may take hours and not have any improvement on your graphics performance).

 

The easiest, best way to boost your graphics performance is to UNINSTALL the Catalyst Control Center application (CCC). You do this the way you would uninstall any application from Windows.

 

I saw a DRAMATIC increase in graphics performance (although still significantly behind the graphics performance of systems with identical specs from other PC manufacturers).

 

The bottom line: NEVER buy from HP again as they do not support their products for more than a couple months after launch.
