HP 620
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi

I am looking for compatible RAM to upgrade my HP 620 notebook.

I was searching on the manufacturer's site for comaptible RAM-s, e.g. on Kingston's:

http://www.kingston.com/us/memory/search/discontinuedmodels?DeviceType=3&Mfr=HEW&Line=620&Model=6345...

And found out that the RAM moduls isn't for sale, discontinued.

Can you confirm that any types Kingston RAMlisted below comaptible with my notebook?

KVR13N9S8/4

KVR13N9S8H/4

KVR13S9S8/4

KVR13N9S6/2

KVR13S9S6/2

If these not compatible, pls recommend me something else from different manufacturer!

Thx,

Peter

From the Manual:

Supports up to 4 GB of system RAM

PC3-10600, 1333-MHz, DDR3

4 gigs can be either 1 x 4 or 2 x 2 and I recommend the latter.

On your list the only one that would be 2 gigs of the correct memory is the last one.

The Kingston is high density memory which is likely to work but this low density module is preferable. Get 2 of them:

As I understand the essential point is to choose low density (x8) type of RAM and I can be sure it will be compatible?

There is high probability to find compatible RAM with these specs no matters which manufacturer i choose?

 DDR3, 1333MHz, Non-ECC, CL9, X8, 1.5V, Unbuffered, SODIMM

Not sure I understand the question. Be sure to get an image of the RAM before you buy and see that it is low-density. I think most manufacturers make a low and high density product.
