Hi,
I want to upgrade my memory RAM on my Hp Probook 4720s WH297UT Notebook (which is 5 years old already 😮 )
I would love to have 8GB of memory, so i want to know, which product can i buy? any equivalent? where can i buy it?
Is it safe to add a memory card by yourself?
Thanks a lot 🙂

Installing RAM is just about the easiest upgrade you could do to a notebook. The Max amount of RAM you can have installed is 8GB total. I have attached some information to help you in upgrading your RAM.
You can purchase the RAM or see the specs here: http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for//probook-4720s

thanks
Crucial is based in the USA. You can buy the memory from any vendor (Newegg, Amazon, Best Buy) as long as it matches what your specifications are.

for example, http://www.amazon.ca/Crucial-DDR3-1600-PC3-12800-204-Pin-CT51264BF160BJ/dp/B009RBN6I6/ref=sr_1_4?s=p...
that one is a PC3-12800 ! is it compatible?

Thank you 🙂
so if i understand it well, i absolutely need a DDR3, PC3-10600 ? can it be more than 10600?
8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3 PC3-12800 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.35V would be the highest you could go.
