Oh okay!

But can i keep my original memory card and just add the crucial one ? or do i absolutely need to have both from crucial?

Thank you for helping me by the way 😛

You can keep it and just get one module that will bring your total RAM to 8GB.  Both modules will run at the speed of the slowest module (even if the new one is faster) so we recommend purchasing matched pairs...it also helps with potential compatibility issues.

You can keep the original and add Crucial memory because it is dual voltage:

1.35v - 1.5v Dual-Voltage DDR3 memory

4GB DDR3 PC3-12800 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.35V

@Jaypee92

Since you need to remove the keyboard to add the memory these  Remove/Replace videos will help.

In the specs of my current memory card it says : Memory Technology : SDRAM

But in all the products that i see including the ones you recommand, it says "SODIMM"

Is it a thing to considerate?

HP Recommended

It's okay.

It is the (intrinsic) technical characteristics of memory and "form factor":

DDR3 (or PC3) SDRAM, an abbreviation for double data rate type (3) three, synchronous dynamic random-access

The reduced "form factor"  using laptops, all in one, etc., is SODIMM:

SO-DIMM, SODIMM, or small outline dual in-line memory module
