Currently I'm using Windows 8.1(64 bit)

I've installed the You cam driver, still it didn't work.

Some days ago I reinstalled windows 8.1 pro (64 bit). I also used windows 8.1 32 bit, windows 7 64 bit, 32 bit. No problem detect that time.
But this time it's not detecing Webcam. I cann't make video call in skype or  cannt record video or capture photo by my Notebook.

Please give me a better solution.

Login to BIOS setting and check webcam is enabled or not. Try the below steps :

a) Power on the Notebook.

b) Press f10

c) Select system configuartion -> Select built in device option -> Scroll down the ride side bar-> Check mark on integrated camera.

d) Save the settings and reatart the Notebook.

I am having the same problem wth my Probook 6550b.  I have the same symptoms/conditions.  I have checked the BIOS settings and they are correct.  Do you have any other ideas?  I worked with HP tech support and they were stumped.  The problem started after I reloaded the operating system because my PC was taking a long time to boot-up.  They suggested to reload the operating system again (windows 7 Professional 64 bit).

Thanks,

I have the same problem. I followed your steps clicked the built in device option and there was not integrated camera! What should i do now?
I bought this laptop in July 2014 (so it still has warranty, but i thought i could fix it myself since the store is too far where i live) and for one month it worked perfectly than it started to make plugging and unplugging noises then by going to the device manager i found that that the camera in the imaging device section keeps unplugging i tried to troubleshoot but nothing worked and for the last two month the camera is not showing at all. Please help me
