HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I don't know where I press, my cursor suddenly stopped and I can't find it so I couldn't do anything and press power button to shut down the PC. Later when I power up it wasn't working properly so I switch off again and remove my battery, place it again and switch on. From that time on it's showing f11 system recovery. It saying to choose language and then some repairing options. When I'm trying some troubleshoot option it's showing some problem with PC so it can't be and shut down. When I shut it down and again switch on it's showing Disk checking(I can skip if I want). After 10 sec it's showing scanning and repairing C drive. After completion my PC is opening normally, good to go but not really good. Other day I discover that my cursor is disappeared or stuck some time I had to press any key to unfreeze or find it. Another problem is that other day when I was watching a movie my cursor started automatically fast forward the movie. These things are continuing. What should I do?

Hey there! @Nahida_Islam, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!

I understand you are getting error scanning and repairing C drive on your PC.

Don't worry I'd like to help you out.

Did you make any software or hardware changes to your PC?

Please try the steps recommended below.

when windows shutdown in windows 10, it doesn't actually turn off. It normally goes into a hybrid sleep mode where half the things you had open at exit are saved to HDD and other half saved to ram so when you turn PC on again its fast to load.

If you turn power switch off, it flushes the contents of ram meaning Win 10 has to take longer to start up though if you have SSD, it's not noticeably longer

If you plan on doing this a lot, you might consider turning off the fast boot as then PC will shutdown when you turn it off.

1. Open the Control Panel (icons view), and click on the Power Options icon.

2. Click/tap on the Choose what the power buttons do a link on the left side.

3. Click/tap on the Change settings that are currently unavailable link at the top.

4. If prompted by UAC, click/tap on Yes.

A) Under Shutdown settings, uncheck the Turn on fast startup box, click/tap on the Save changes button.

Also, please run a system diagnostics test on your PC and post back the results.

Let me know if this helps!

Have a wonderful day ahead! 🙂
