Found the answer, 2-button shut down (solution 4), works on multiple computer models/series courtesy of Windows. My drivers were hidden and not missing, everything works great:

Thank you for your quick response.
None of the offerred solutions work, please see screen captures.
First Screen Capture: Computer does not recognize that a TouchScreen is an active device. [This indicates a driver is damaged and/or missing]
Second Screen Capture: There are no Tablet PC Settings available. [This confirms that the driver is missing]
HP needs to upload TouchScreen Drivers to its' support downloads immediately.

Hi:
As far as I know, there is no such thing as a standalone touchscreen driver for these new models.
The touchscreen driver is part of the graphics driver.
If you have installed the AMD graphics driver for your model and the touchscreen is not working, then you should contact HP technical support if your notebook is still under warranty, because there possibly is a hardware problem.
Installing the graphics driver should automatically activate the touchscreen.
