HP Envy
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I recently connected a second monitor to my HP Envy laptop and would now like to purchase an external keyboard so that I don't have to stretch to reach the notebook's internal keyboard.

I am at a loss as to which external keyboards are compatible with my notebook computer.  I am afraid to purchase one that just says it's for a PC.   I would prefer a keyboard with a normal 2 UBS connection or a wireless connection, as my 3 UBS is in use by the second monitor.

Can you please make a recommendation?

Hi @Clancy11

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query in this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you wanted to know which keyboard to purchase for your computer.

I’d love to help!

The keyboard is a plug and play device and any keyboard (wired/wireless) will work fine with your computer.

Hope this answers your question.
