Hello everyone,

I have a big issue here !

My Probook 4510s won't turn on anymore, it happened suddenly after leaving it on the table in the evening next day it didn't turn on 😞

With or without the battery it makes no difference the only thing it does when I plug in my charger is turn on the blue led above the connection.

Can somebody give me any advise ?

Thx a lot

Try a hard reset.Disconnect all external devices first.

1-remove power cord and battery

2-press power button for 30 seconds

3-reinstall only power cord for first startup.

4-power on

Hello CherylG,

Thank you for your input, I tried what you said but it didn't work out :-s I am really helpless with this issue. Can it be that my motherboard is damaged somehow ?

Most likely, I had a ProBook 4710S

The power adapter went out multiple times, so you might want to look into trying to replace that.

My 4710 died about a month ago due to the board going out 😞

Thx a lot for your help.

You might try reseating the memory in their slots. If you have 2 memory sticks, you can also try booting with 1, if no change swap the sticks and try again.
