Wifi stopped working, could not access. Adapter does not show in device manager.  Anyway to confirm the adapter died (versus some software issue)?

Anyone with experience regarding replacing wifi adapter on this type pc?

Thanks

I appreciate your help.  In my post you will see that the adapter does not show up in the Device Manager.  That points to a complete failure of the adapter.  I did the driver reinstall but of course that didn't work as there is no hardware to attach it to.

I am looking for some way to confirm the adapter is dead?

Also, I am asking about possibly replacing the adapter?  Any experience with this?

Thanks

The hardware check kicked the adapter back to life.  Everything passed and the adapter re-appeared in the Device Manager and is now working as normal.  Thanks.
