Me, too!

StarTech USB to VGA adapter. Plugged in, updated the driver, re-boot, and voila! The HDMI port on my laptop is now active.

Whew!

Model USB2VGAE3 from Amazon.

This worked for me also.

I used a J5create JUA350 adapter (USB to HDMI).  Installed the driver with no problems and now my second monitors again - without the JUA350.

This is great! I really needed that monitor.

Thanks very much. I have the same problem with external monitor, code 43 on HP Envy with Intel HD4000 graphics and HP Pavilion with AMD R5 graphics. I have a J5Create adapter (model JUA190) I had not used in a while as my new monitors and laptops have HDMI. Installed it on both laptops and voila x2.....both now working fine. Code 43 cleared.

Thank you so much. I spent a day trying to figure this out and the IT department couldnt figure out what was wrong with my laptop. It is currently connected to an HP docking bay with dual monitors connected. The

j5create adaptor driver for Model JUA310 worked on my computer:
Windows 10 Enterprise Intel Core i7-4800MQ
intel HD graphics 4600
Nvidia Quadro K610M
