I've noticed that some Windows 10 drivers for the Elitebook Folio 9470M have recently been posted. There are many missing (like IDT Audio drivers, SD card drivers, Validity Finderprint drivers), as well as missing software. Are the missing drivers supplied by Microsoft Update, or do I use Win 8.1 drivers. Do I simply use Win 8.1 software (mainly HP Client Security). Curious to know other people's experience upgrading.
Thanks.

I am also patiently waiting for the drivers for the 9470m. It would be nice to use Windows 10 on this machine, as it is absolutely perfect (for a laptop) on Windows 7. Has anyone heard any rumors regarding timeframe?
President

Hi There,
I'm still waiting for these drivers too.
First I upgraded from Win8.1 to 10. Evrrything work OK except for the office installation and a number of small programs. I decided to do a clean win10 installation around the same time the Win10 November accumulated upgrade came out.
Major mistake sinche a lot of problems arose of which a few are still unresolved;
However my problems are specifically on;
- Synaptics touchstick and clickpad
- Validity Fingerreader and the HP Client Security Manager
The security stuff is surviveable but the mouse stuff is a mess!! - I can't simply use the Synaptics devices - I operate the computer with an external mouse. The doubleclick is hypersenstive - Either nothing happens, or I get minimum 3 actions, so if i click an icon on the task bar I usually get the application in minimum 3 instances or more and it continues like that inside the applications - useless.
What to do?
Tim
