I have a problem when i trying to run installer catalyst it doesn't work. Anyone know where is a problem? I'm trying to run with run as administrator

OK so here's the mess of info from that reg file, and what ever "fix" your going to suggest, I assume is for use in W7x64 OS. But what about the drivers that this Leshcat comes up with? I think he's got a new one about ready based on the latet Beta AMD's.

I only needed one value and it doesn't show in what you posted.  TO be clear, I can't make windows 8 drivers work in 7, but I might be able to get the 7690m drivers working for you in Windows 8.  Although if you want to use Leshcat's drivers, feel free.  I am not saying official is better, I just don't like using unsigned drivers if I don't have to.

OK well I'm not into using either driver at the moment, leshcat ot AMD, or even this W8 HP driver at notebook review, I still have my W7 on this laptop, I just said I have the W8 that was offered from that promo deal and just burned the install DVD, but am a bit apprehensive about installing the damned thing right now.

So if that "one" value wasn't on that list, than I assume its not there, as I did a export of the whole thing. So not sure what value you have that's different from mine. could be the difference in cards, I dono, but if its not there than I assume you can't do what you were going to anyway.

I plan to hold on to this W8 DVD for a while, I'm not in any hurry to install it now, all I wanted to do was get the Pro version for that $14.99 while the promo was in effect, With that and my "valid" key I can mess with it anytime. I was even going to install it on my Vista machine, made the partition and all, only to find I can't install it on a 32bit system anyway lol. I thought I could install it on a separate partition as 64bit, oh well lol.

I want to install it on this laptop in a duel boot, but I'm still trying to find which of these idiot HP partitions can be removed without screwing up the system, it has 4 partitions that came with this unit, never had one like this before. Only 2 I see that could be removed are D and E, recovery and Tools, but still not clear on that as some say thy mess up the system. groan.

I also have 2 of those, one 0000, which has this value, and one 0001 which doesn't.
