ElitePad 1000 G2 Tablet
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

From the Windows 8.1 Camera App, I'm getting the error "To get started, connect a camera."

I've been through this before for a previous identical tablet and I did the following and it worked:

1) Installed the "Manageability - Driver Pack (1)" for the HP ElitePad 1000 G2 from here

2) Installed the  "Intel Slate IO/Video/Audio/Camera Driver Package" for the HP ElitePad 1000 G2 from here

3) Checked my device manager and under "Imaging devices" I see "Intel(R) Imaging Signal Processor 2400" and under "System devices" I see "Camera Sensor IMX175" and "Camera Sensor OV2722"

However I've done that and I'm still getting the error. Any suggestions on where to go from here?

Thanks in advance.

Fixed it. I went to Device Manager and under "System devices" I updated "Camera Sensor IMX175" and "Camera Sensor OV2722" and restarted and it worked.

How did you update those two camera drivers? I haven't been able to locate those specific drivers individually.

They were located under the "System devices" folder in Device Manager. Did you install the driver packages in step 1) and 2)?
