Hi y'all,
My mom bought a HP a while ago and suddenly receives the same error:
"Wireless Module not supported
The system has detected...
WLAN Module ID (702)"
She did not have the wifi module replaced and as far as I know she did not update the BIOS.
I recovered the BIOS and did a hard reset, but it did not help.
Please help.
It concerns a HP Pavilion DV6 3020ed

A while ago is about seven years in this case.
That error message is usually the result when an owner installs a wireless adapter that the BIOS does not support.
Did you install a more modern wifi adapter, perhaps an 802.11ac version?
