@ mara1993
Thanks for posting the screenshot! That is very helpful. I see that you have a Broadcom 4313 wireless card. Here is the latest driver version for your particular notebook. Download and install the update from the link below and restart the computer when prompted. After the restart, check your symptoms and let me know the results when you get a chance 🙂
Broadcom Wireless Driver version 5.60.350.23

@ Narutoninjaqiu
1. Go to Device Manager
2. Expand Network adapters
3. Right-click on your wireless card and click 'Enable'
Also try a Hard Reset
1. Shutdown
2. Remove the battery and unplug the power cord
3. Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds (this allows residual electricity to drain from the unit and provides a fresh boot state)
4. Put the battery back in and plug in the power cord
5. Power on and test the wireless issue
Let me know the results when you get a chance 🙂

Hey Rockst3r,
If both wireless and Ethernet are not working, what security programs do you have on the computer? (antiviruses, anti-malwares, anti-rootkits, registry cleaners)
Sometimes a trial of one program is preinstalled with the computer and then the user adds his/her own preferred security program later. That can cause a connectivity issue like it did in this case.
You can go to Programs and Features to get a full list of programs installed on your computer.
1. Click Start
2. Type 'programs'
3. Click Programs and Features
4. Look closely at the list and let me know which security programs you have installed on the computer.
Let me know if you have any questions 🙂

Ok so Avast, McAfee and Microsoft Security Essentials are all antiviruses. They are conflicting with each other. Pick one of those to use permanently and uninstall the other two.
I don't know if you got a chance to look at this link I post in my previous message:
WiFi Connection Problems - Solved
After uninstalling two of those three, restart the computer and try your wireless connection and bluetooth again. Let me know how it goes. You may need to temporarily uninstall more from the list you provided. Hopefully getting rid of two of those AVs will correct the issue. I'll keep an eye out for your reply 🙂

There are a few different solutions that others have posted. Here' s "brief" list of things to try starting with the most convenient, least invasive options.
Enable Wireless Card in Device Manager
1. Press the Windows key + X
2. Click Device Manager
3. Expand Network Adapters
4. Right-click on your wireless card (look for the line that says 'WiFi', 'wireless', '802.11')
5. Click Enable (If you don't see the word 'Enable', that means it is already enabled. Proceed to the next option)
Uninstall the wireless and Restart
1. In Device Manager > Network Adapters, Double-click on your wireless card to open Properties
2. Click on the Driver tab. Let me know what version number is shown there. Post the version number in your reply, please.
3. Click the Uninstall button.
4. Click Restart Now. During the restart, Windows will automatically detect and reinstall the missing driver. This should correct any driver software issues, if the driver is up-to-date. (Which is why I need to know your version number)
After the restart, try your wireless connection and your wireless button again. If it still isn't working, proceed to the next option.
A Hard Reset
1. Shutdown
2. Unplug the charger. Remove the battery and all peripherals
3. Press and hold the Power button for about 10 seconds. This drains all of the residual electricity from the unit and gives it a clean boot state.
4. Reinsert the battery and plug the charger back in.
5. Power on and test your wireless connection and wireless button. if it still isn't working proceed to the next option.
Reseat your wireless card
1. Here is your Maintenance and Service Guide. Removal/reseating of the WLANcard begins on page 50. (This is only for the Pavilion g6. If other users have a different model, let me know your product number and I'll link you to your Maintenance and Service Guide, but most models are pretty similar)
After reseating the card, power on and test the connection and button again.
Let me know the results when you get a chance! If one of these works, please post which one did the trick for you. This may help others. Looking forward to your reply 🙂
Don't forget to include your wireless driver version number, please!
