I noticed a mistake in Realtek 802.11 wifi adapter.

Device status:

This device is not working properly because Windows can not load the device driver required. (Code 31)

Ok need to check with you on one thing. When I had you go into Device Manager and get the wireless card's brand, model number and version number, did you click the Uninstall button and let the computer restart (in step 6 of this post)?

I just need to make sure you tried that. Uninstalling/Reinstalling usually corrects an error like this. Let me know when you get a chance.

I was at step 6, in driver tab and clicked unninstal button. It didn't automaticaly restart. So it's possible, that didn't reinstall.

This worked for me but only after powered down and reinstalled the batttery.  When I next booted the blue light came on and stayed on.  SOLVED.

After clicking the Uninstall button, you must click the OK button. Then you'll see a Restart dialogue box. That's where you click restart.

The restart dialogue box doesn't show.

When i click uninstall button, the dialogue box with OK button appears and there is a field to check:

"Delete the driver software for this device".

Should i check the field for this option?

HP Recommended

Yes check that checkbox. I apologize most cards don't have this option. By default, most delete the driver software. You should then have the Restart dialogue.

When i turn on my laptop, windows asks me for Product Key. I wrote the PK there, but it can't check, because of internet connection.

Does it matters?
