hi there...

my problem is..when i startup my netbook 'HP Mini 148A-110' it shown this:

HP BIOS Update

The System BIOS is being recovered.

Do not shutdown or remove power from your computer during the recovery.

The recovery will take several minute to complete.

 

Writing new BIOS Image

 

Block 512/512

 

Progress 100%

 

Please help me to solve this problem....

Hi,

 

What is the problem?

 

Take a look at the service tag on the bottom of your netbook and post the correct Product name. There is no HP mini 148a-110. There are HP mini 110-????? models.

Hi 

 

I've got similar problem with a HP mini 110-3113SA with seriel number: {Personal Information Removed}. When turned on, it only takes to the New Bios writing message where it complete the procedure to 100% and does not go further. Upon pressing any other button, it continues to repeat the similar problem. 

 

Can you please advise solution for it? Many thanks.

I understand that you are not able to boot past the BIOS.

 

Here is a link to a document to restore your BIOS.
