I have a HP Pavilion g6 Notebood PC product number- A9S02PA#ABG running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Service Pack 1, with a built in webcam that uses CyberLink YouCam. Everything is up to date, drivers are up to date, computer says HP Webcam device is WORKING, problem is when I open CyberLink YouCam, the screen is black, never useto be, now it is, Advanced setting camera control on the YouCam is not an option can not use it as it won't allow it, how can I obtain the picture back so I can see myself in the picture? Cheers for any feedback.

Hi,

Try using Recovery Manager to reinstall Cyberlink YouCam - the procedure for using recovery manager to reinstall Software and Drivers is detailed in the document on the link below.

Recovery Manager - Windows 7

After the reinstallation has completed, restart the notebook.
