ZBook 17 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The ZBook 17 G3 has 2 m2 ssd slots what is the size of these drives? I know one is a 2280 but what is the second and who makes them?

Both are M.2 2280. Compatible with M.2 SATA-3 NGFF & M.2 NVMe PCIe SSDs.

Samsung makes very good M.2 SSDs, although there will be many other brands manufacturing it.

I do not belive the second is a 2280.  The space for it is about half the length of the 2280 on the left side of the laptop above the battery.

Are you sure second one is not WWAN/wireless card slot - Page 41, 44?

Can you post the exact product number of your laptop?

Product # X1X64UT#ABA. You know you mybe right. By the conector it said JWWAN1. So where does the second m2 ssd go?
