Upgraded to windows 10 atfer checking compactability, no issues highlighted. All has been working well when around a week ago wiFi adaptor stopped working, checked for updates etc all to no avail.
Restored sysem to earlier date and WiFi was working fine again, however problem would re-occur after 30 mins or so, now not working again. I cannot return to recover from an earlier date as they are no longer available.
I have tried uninstalling wifi adaptor and its drivers and re-installing, adaptor is reconised and in properties says its working O.K. but its not. Looked on Qualcomms web site for driver downloads and it does not have one for windows 10 but it was working fine for 3-4 weeks with windows 10.
I have also looked to factory reset and go back to Windows 8 but I will loose programmes like microsoft Access, Acronis etc which were previously downloaded and I do not want the hassle of trying get permission to re-download.
In device driver properties it also states that their are no conflicts etc but it does say in events :Device PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0032&SUBSYS_1838103C&REV_01\4&2e3c5434&0&0020 requires further installation.
Can anyone help please

Anytime.
Glad to be of assistance.
I love to experiment with drivers, but since I don't have any PC's with that model wlan card, my hands are tied.
All of my notebooks have Intel wlan cards, and even the old Intel 3965 b/g wlan card works just fine on W10.
I hope you can figure out a solution to the problem, and thank you in advance for posting back if you get a positive result.

Hi:
See if this one works.
It shows support for the wireless card your notebook has...

Many thanks for your assisantce but unfortunately the attached driver link hasn,t worked. I deleted the original driver several times and it appeared to load, however, I get the following message:
"Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device". "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered a error while attempting to install it"
In the driver tab under properties it stated the following: Driver date 17/05/2015, Driver version: 10.0.0.318 but does not show REV B or the date of the downloaded driver date of 14 Jul 2015 and can only assume that for what ever reason the new version will not load and the WiFi is still n/w, any other suggestions and many thanks for all your help
.
P.S. the laptop is a Pavillion sleekbook TS

Thank you, I appreciate your assistance. I think I am going to back up the entire hard drive to a remote drive using Acronis and then factory re-set the installed drive and go from there. The drive is partitioned and prior to factory re-set I may try reloading the windows 10 on that half.
Meantime I will try a few other ideas when time allows and will let you know if any are successful, thanks again for your assistance.
