Thank you for posting your query on HP Support Forum

Please follow the steps given below:

1. Disable the Intel Smart Sound (ISST) option in BIOS

2. Uninstall the installed Audio drivers from Device Manager.

3. Reinstall the Audio drivers once again.

Hello I have the same problem with four laptop. This is  an annoying issue cause I have to reinstall the drivers over and over. By the way when you install the audio driver the laptop show a problem and force restart (like a blue screen)

Below I show you the option as KBT86 say but there is not such opcion for Intel Smart Audio (ISST).

  1. Press Esc, then BIOS Setups (F10)
  2. Go to Advanced, Select Built-In Device Options

I also cannot find the option to disable Intel ISST in the bios.

This is quite annoying since i bought a brand new laptop and also there is no HP service centre here in Pakistan.

Pretty disappointed by HP lately!!!!
